FLPO STOCKING FOR 2008
At the 4/5/08 FLPO meeting it was noted that the DNR will NOT be doing any stocking this year, due to VHS virus. The Board unanimously voted to increase the already earmarked funds of $3,680 to $10,000 for this years fish stocking, divided evenly between walleye and perch. Dates to be announced and help will be required.
Suggestion also made to post $1.00 donation to fish stocking at each lake boat launch.
There are still 4 tagged Carp in the lake, each one is worth $100!
STOCKING DONE 2007
On Tuesday, September 25, 2007 the Perch were stocked into Fox Lake at the Town Park. Louie Leizinger got the call early Monday and had to find volunteers at the twelfth hour! Luckily he found these staunch individuals to help out landing approximatey 15,000 lively perch into the lake.

Gollon Fish Hatchery came with their truck and about 12 volunteers bucket brigaded them into the lake. Not one floater. Look for another stocking in about 2 weeks, when we'll have our Perch.
