February 2, 2008 Meeting Minutes
Fox Lake Property Owners, Inc. Minutes of the Board of Directors Meeting 9:30 a.m. at the Town Hall on February 2, 2008 Absent were Bob Bergman, Linda Knueppel, Tom Mueller and Dona Turgeon. Also in attendance were Louis Leizinger and George and Judy Salaj. The next meeting of the Board of Directors will be April 5, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. at the Town Hall. Ted Kahlow made a motion seconded by Jim Rohr to accept the minutes of the January 5, 2008 meeting as printed. All in favor motion carried. Lou Benter provided the Treasurer’s report for the period from January6 through February 2, 2008. Tim Meekma made a motion seconded by Ted Kahlow to accept the Treasurer’s report. All in favor motion carried. Louis Leizinger presented the data from the Fall 2007 Electro fishing Summary Report. The report prepared by Laura Stremick-Thompson of the DNR compare the 2007 catch with the 2006 catch for walleye, largemouth bass, northern pike, muskie, bluegill, yellow perch, black crappie and white crappie. Copies of the report were given to all in attendance. Debbie Green is seeking a band for the pig roast, it will be a different band than the one hired in 2007. Bill Knueppel is still attempting to get a hind quarter of beef donated for one of the pig roast raffles. Gordie Ceskowske has graciously donated a Model 500G Browning Automatic Shotgun to be used for a raffle. Thank you, Gordie. Louis Leizinger will not be able to organize the handicapped outing this summer. Doris Rothman volunteered to assume this task and a tentative date was set for June 28, 2008. The Wisconsin Association of Lake annual convention is in Green Bay and Tim Meekma is considering attending this conference with expenses reimbursed by the Fox Lake Property Owners. Linda Knueppel is still looking for volunteers to show their home in June 21, 2008 Parade of Homes. Anyone interested should contact Linda or any Board member. The Fox Lake Inland Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District asked FLPO to support by resolution the request for Lake Management Planning grants to continue monitoring Cambra Creek, Alto Creek and Drew Creek. Debbie Green made a motion seconded by Bill Knueppel to approve such resolutions but also expect FLILPRD to assist the FLPO by providing changes in ownership of properties in the Inland Lake District. All in favor motion carried. The Board thanked Sandy Meekma for getting the January issue of the Tides into the mail. Bill Knueppel volunteered Linda to write the minutes of the April board meeting and Debbie Green volunteered to do the May minutes. Louis Leizinger reported that Tom Mueller is now in rehabilitation at Hillside in Beaver Dam Ted Kahlow made a motion seconded by Tim Meekma to adjourn. All in favor motion carried.
