MINUTES OF FOX LAKE PROPERTY OWNERS, INC. Sat. May 3rd, 2008 at Fox Lake Town Hall Present: Ed Benter, Debbie Green, Jim Rohr, Ted Kahlow, Tom Mueller, Doris Rottman, Bob Bergman, Tim Meekma, Treasurer-Lou Benter. Absent: Bill & Linda Knueppel, Supporting member-Louis Leizinger. Guests: Cheryl Beier, George Salaj, Nancy Mueller, George & Marverne Paitrack. Meeting called to order by President Ed Benter @ 9:30 A.M. Motion made by Ted and seconded by Bob to approve the minutes of April meeting. Treasurer report: Submitted by Lou. Motion made by Tom and seconded by Debbie to accept report. Communications: Bonnie Skaar sent thank you note for sponsoring a concert in the park. Bev Quast sent a thank you note for donating $ for the Bunny Berigan Jazz festival. Fish Committee: Tom stated DNR okayed permit for perch and walleye. We will receive 50,000 walleye at 1 to 1 ½ inches. DNR also suggested that we add some northern to lake. Fish committee will meet and come back with a recommendation. Parade of Homes: June 21, 2008. Still approximately 25 tickets left. Concert in Park: July 11th, 2008 our night for concessions. Handicapped Outing: June 28, 2008. Doris still looking for volunteers. Fund Raiser: July 19, 2008. Please ask Lou for raffle tickets to sell. Raffle tickets to purchase are available at our local businesses around lake and in town. Golf Outing: August 16, 2008 Entry forms will be coming out in our June newsletter. Mark it on your calendar. Cheryl Beier will help with flyers and entry forms. New Business: Tim Meekma gave a report about the Wisconsin Association of Lakes convention he attended April 17-19. He says it was very informational and encourages more people to go. Tim has a CD available to learn more. He thanked the FLPO for sending him. Thanks to you also Tim. Board members whose term is up this year are: Tim Meekma, Ed Benter, Bob Bergman, Doris Rottman, Jim Rohr, and Ted Kahlow. All willing to run again, but are asking for new nominations. Cheryl Beier has offered to help with upcoming events, I’m sure we’ll utilize her! Motion made to adjourn by Bob and seconded by Jim.
