Minutes of the meeting of the Fox Lake Property Owners Board of Directors held Saturday, June 3, 2006, Town Hall, 9:30am. Meeting was called to order by President Benter. Absent Board Members/Supporting Board Members were Tim Meekma, Bob Bergmann, Gordie Ceskowske, David Cross. Six guests present. READING OF THE MINUTES: Motion to dispense reading of the minutes. Ted/Butch motioned to accept and seconded, motion carried. TREASURERS REPORT: Lou Benter presented/explained report. $19,180.60 plus earmarked funds, $22,160.44 is the balance. Motion by Dona, second by Jim, motion carried. ELECTION OF OFFICERS: Jim nominated Ed, seconded by Dona, all in favor. Ed accepts and continues as President. Vice President, Ted nominates Dona, Butch seconds, Tom says close nominations, Ted seconds, all in favor, Dona continues as Vice President. Dona and Lou accept to continue Secretary/Treasurer positions for another year. Motion by Ted, after thanking them, second by Butch, all in favor. OLD BUSINESS: Ted has purchased the grill, it was $286.95. Ed has a possible buyer for the old grill, he offered $250/300...Ed will follow up. Ted will paint the picnic tables this week. May fishing contest winners were Perry Fromm a 12-¼” crappie, Ken Klug a 9-¼” perch. Dona questioned does it start May 1st or actual opening day, it’s May 1st , legal fish only. Handicap Outing: July 22nd, Louie still needs pontoon boats. Hot dogs and burgers will be served. We’ll discuss at next meeting. Ted mentioned tee-shirts for the kids, Dona will get him the count and sizes. Billy Buchda can’t do clown that day because of Car Show conflict. Maybe next year we could check out the juggler who performed for the library, Lou said he was very good, Louie will ask Julie Flemming. We felt we’d have enough to do with fishing, boating, eating and picture taking. Tee Shirts: Ted reported. He had the two samples and prices, motion to purchase 216 shirts in various sizes (108 red/108 blue) by Dona, seconded by Doris, motion carried. ANY OTHER OLD BUSINESS: Louie indicated that keys were returned from Jim Slawny. Louie will also call Jim about the carryall bag of Marilyn’s was discarded and if he would like we’d be glad to replace it. New Business: None. Ed suggested July meeting to be July 8th since the 1st is Fourth of July weekend, motion by Ted, seconded by Dona, motion carried. So, next meeting will be July 8, 2006 at 9:30am. Motion by Ted, second by Butch to adjourn, motion carried. NOTE: On the back is a list of people who were members last year but haven’t yet signed up this year, if they’re a near neighbor, perhaps you can remind/ask them to re-join?
