Minutes of the meeting of the Fox Lake Property Owners, Inc., Saturday, June 7, 2008 at the Fox Lake Town Hall. All Board Members (including new Board Member George Salaj) and Lou Benter, Treasurer present, and guests. Meeting was called to order. Next Board Meeting will be Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 9:00am instead of 9:30 due to 4th of July activities. Minutes: Dispensed with reading of the minutes, motion to approve last months minutes by Dona, second by Tim, motion carried. Financial Report: Lou supplied copies to all. Motion to accept by Dona, second by Tim, motion carried. Election of Officers: Motion to nominate Ed Benter as president by Dona, second by Tim, Ed accepted, motion carried. Motion by Dona, second by Lou to nominate Debbie Green as Vice President, Debbie accepted, motion carried. Old Business: Pig Roast: Dona will print the 5 Gift Certificate Tickets for Ted to take to WBEV Radio for promotion. Debbie will distribute fliers, Ed will have Hayes get beer company to print. Debbie will put ads in papers as last year. Bob Bergmann will be the Volunteer Coordinator. Dona will contact Out of Thyme Catering to make sure all is moving forward on pig/chicken/sides, she will also touch base with Christine for Kids Tent. We will meet at the shed on the day, Saturday, July 18th at 9:00am to bring what we need from shed to the park, we need 3 trailers that day. Ted will make breakfast, Louie to donate sausage, Bill donates eggs. Ted will order all the food for the grill. Bill will donate a Booze Basket for raffle. Bill and Linda will solicit Dine Around donations. For raffles/fund raising we have the Beef, Gun, Wood Boat Shelf, Booze Basket, Money Raffle and Ed will coordinate the walk around Meat Raffle……we'll be selling Pull Tabs, Bill will run the Over/Under Table…….no one volunteered to go around and solicit door prizes. Parade of Homes: June 21, 2008, Linda/Lou have everything under control, enough pontoons to take everyone around, etc. May Fishing Contest: Still need to get slips from Boat House before we can determine the winners. Dona will get some blank entry forms to Boat House and Hayes. Special Friends Outing: Doris said there will be 59 participants, 32 fishing, 27 riding……deserts still needed, boats still needed. Concerts In The Park: The concert that we are sponsoring/staffing is July 11, 2008. We'll meet at the Town Hall at 4:30 to load and bring chairs to the Town Park. Golf Outing: Debbie says all is going along, she'll ask for volunteers at the next meeting. Fish Stocking: Louie reported, wants to consider Northern stocking this year yet, the Fish Committee will meet before next meeting and report.
