Minutes: Minutes were read by the Secretary, motion to accept by Tim, second by Tom, motion carried. Financial Report: Lou handed the report out, motion to accept by Dona, second by Deb, motion carried. Old Business: Fish Committee: Louie contacted the hatchery and the perch should be around 9/10 with about 620 Northern around three weeks after that, help will be needed to bucket them into the lake at the Town Park. DNR lifted the ban on stocking which had been imposed due to the VHS virus. Pig Roast: Lou passed out the report and our profit was $6,350.95. Deb and Linda brought up that it should run later, lots of people spend the day on the lake and would come afterward. After discussion we chose July 19, 2008 for next years’ event, to run from 12-8pm serving food from 3-7, band will play 4-8, Deb will book the same band again. We might do chicken instead of pork, to be discussed later. Golf Outing: Deb said things are moving along, she still has 60 and is working on getting 12 more. We’ll supply , cook and serve the food with Ted’s help instead of having the Golf Course do it. Louie will drive the beer cart. Lou will help Deb. Web Site: Ed showed pictures of what it will look like. Dona said all is ready to go and requested board members e-mails. She also asked if there would be any objection to selling memberships outside the area to businesses who would like to have their link put on our site, she’d categorize them by type of business. No objections. Deb and Linda brought up that the name “Fox Lake Property Owners” might discourage people from joining or coming to events if they don’t own property on Fox Lake. There are legalities to changing our name, Ed will look into it. Any Other Old Business: Dona asked to split up some of the Secretary duties, she’d still maintain the website, compile and send the newsletter to the printer if someone could pick up doing the minutes, sending thank you letters, etc. Lou will put it into the newsletter. Dona made and installed the Honorary Lifetime Member plaque for Gordie. Any New Business: Ted asked “where are the weeds”, he suggests we all go to the Inland Lake District Meeting this afternoon. Motion to Adjourn by Tom, second by Ted, motion carried.
