Fox Lake Property Owners Board of Directors Meeting
Saturday, June 5, 2010
Fox Lake Town Hall
Present: Ed Benter, Tom Mueller, Tim Meekma, George Salaj, Bob
Bergmann, Sarah Drzewiecki, Bill Knueppel, Linda Knueppel, Jon
Prochnow, and Treasurer-Lou Benter. Also present: Louis Leizinger,
supporting board member, and Sandy Meekma, Ted Kahlow, Doris Rottmann,
and Beverly.
Meeting called to order by President Ed Benter at 10;20 am, after
Annual Meeting
Minutes from May 1, 2010: Motion by George; 2nd by Bob to approve
minutes as written. All in favor, motion carried.
Monthly Financial Report: Submitted by Lou Benter. $2000 was paid to
the Inland Lake District to offset legal fees needed to oppose
building of the Dairy Farm. Motion by Tim; 2nd by Tom to accept
report. All in favor, motion carried.
Election of Officers: Nomination of Tim Meekma as President by Bill;
2nd by Linda, Nomination of Bob Bergmann as President by Tim; 2nd by
George. Motion to close nominations by George; 2nd by Linda. Silent
vote resulted in Tim Meekma elected as President. Bob Bergmann
volunteers to act as Vice President.
Motion by Linda; 2nd by George to elect Sarah Drzewiecki as
Secretary.
Motion by Jon; 2nd by Bill to elect Lou Benter as Treasurer. Lou
accepts duty as described in By-Laws.
Lou Benter expressed concerns with breadth of duties laden upon her.
A list of her present responsibilities was shared. Board members
agree this is too much for one person and not the typical
responsibilities of a treasurer as described in the By-Laws. Tim and
Bob will write the newsletter and secure the advertising. Linda will
take reservations for future Parade of Homes. Lou will continue with
maintenance of mailing list. Other members will volunteer as needed.
Old Business
Item 1: Fish Committee: See minutes from Annual Meeting. Louie will
continue to investigate options to purchase Musky.
Item 2: Events: Parade of Homes - July 19, 2010 Coordinated by
Linda Knueppel
Special Friends Outing - June 26, 2010 Coordinated by Louie
Leizinger
12 Participants from ARCh. 7 would like
to fish, 6 additional have expressed a desire for a boat ride. 5
chaperones will accompany them. There will be 39 total participants.
Bill and George will get out grill and check it for the season.
Sarah will purchase meat, chips, condiments, plates, and napkins.
George and Linda will provide cookies and bars. Sandy will provide
soda, water, and buns. Louie will get ice.
Round Robin on the Lake - July 17, 2010
Raffle tickets are available through Board members and through local
establishments. A flyer will be dispersed in the next two weeks.

Golf Outing - August 14, 2010 Coordinated by Bill Knueppel
Vendors are being lined up and outing is being promoted. Committee
is looking for door prizes and hole prizes. Goal is to have 19-20
4-somes participate.
New Business
Item 1: Motion by George; 2nd by Bill: In the unfortunate
circumstance that an active Board Member passes away, the Board will
send a memorial to family for designated donation.
