Town of Fox Lake Plan Commission Meeting Monday, July 2, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Chairman Turgeon called the joint meeting of the Town of Fox Lake Plan Commission to order at 7:00 p.m. Plan Commission members present were Roland Gallenberg, Dona Turgeon, Dennis Vanderwerff, Lionel Wagner, and Denise Wingers. Absent were members Joan Siewert and Thomas Wissing. Lionel Wagner made a motion seconded by Dennis Vamderwerff to approve the agenda as printed. All in favor motion carried. Dennis Vamderwerff made a motion seconded by Roland Gallenberg to approve the minutes of the February 27, 2007 joint meeting with the Town Board and the public hearing for the Zoning Ordinance. All in favor motion carried. Clerk Benter reviewed the actions which have taken place since February 27, 2007, including the adoption of the Zoning Ordinance by the Town Board on March 12, 2007, approval of the Zoning Ordinance by the Dodge County Board of Supervisors on May 15, 2007 and the publication of a notice that the Town of Fox Lake has adopted a Zoning Ordinance on June 9, 2007. Dennis Vanderwerff made a motion seconded by Dona Turgeon to recommend to the Town Board the following terms of office for Plan Commission members effective July 9, 2007 upon approval by the Town Board: 1-year terms for Town Board members, Thomas Wissing and Lionel Wagner; 2-year terms for Dennis Vanderwerff and Dona Turgeon; and 3-year terms for Denise Wingers, Joan Siewert and Roland Gallenberg. All in favor motion carried. Dona Turgeon made a motion seconded by Dennis Vanderwerff to recommend to the Town Board to contract with General Engineering Company to act as the Zoning Administrator for the Town of Fox Lake and to utilize that firm’s forms and permits. All in favor motion carried. The Plan Commission will meet the first Monday of each month when business needs to be conducted. Twelve signs will be ordered from Dodge County to be placed at Town borders on State and County highways to inform people that zoning exists in the Town. The signs shall read “The Town of Fox Lake is zoned. Zoning and Building Permits are required.” During public comment discussion occurred as to whether the Town of Fox Lake should consider purchasing the Fox Lake Golf Club.
