Town of Fox Lake Plan Commission Meeting Monday, August 6, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Chairman Turgeon called the joint meeting of the Town of Fox Lake Plan Commission to order at 7:00 p.m. Plan Commission members present were Roland Gallenberg, Dona Turgeon, Dennis Vanderwerff, Lionel Wagner, Denise Wingers, and Thomas Wissing. Absent was member Joan Siewert. Dennis Vamderwerff made a motion seconded by Tom Wissing to approve the agenda as printed. All in favor motion carried. Dennis Vamderwerff made a motion seconded by Roland Gallenberg to approve the minutes of the July 2, 2007 meeting. All in favor motion carried. Dan Huebner of General Engineering was present to explain how their firm would administer zoning in the Town of Fox Lake. Properties not within 1,000 feet of a lake or not within 300 feet of navigable stream would be required to get a Zoning Permit through the Town. Properties within 1,000 feet of a lake or within 300 feet of a navigable stream would still need to get a Land Use Permit from Dodge County. In both situations a Building Permit from the Town of Fox Lake is required. Mr. Huebner also presented a table of fees to be instituted for Zoning Permits and Building Permits. Dennis Vanderwerff made a motion seconded by Denise Wingers to recommend to the Town Board to enter into an agreement with General Engineering for Zoning and Building Inspection Services and to adopt the fee schedules attached to these minutes. All in favor motion carried. The Plan Commission reviewed the Rezoning Petition of Dennis Acker which was submitted to the Town of Fox Lake for an opinion. Roland Gallenberg made a motion seconded be Dennis Vanderwerff to recommend to the Town Board that the rezoning of the Acker property on the north side of Blackhawk Trail in Section 22 be approved. All in favor motion carried. The next meeting of Plan Commission will meet the first Monday of the month when business needs to be conducted.
