November 12, 2007 Special Town Electors Meeting
Town of Fox Lake Special Town Meeting of the Electors Monday, November 12, 2007 After the public hearing on the 2008 Proposed Budget which began at 7:00 p.m., Chairman Wagner called the meeting to order with 7 electors present. Lou Benter made a motion seconded by Dick Lidtke to approve the total 2008 highway expenditures of $224,500.00 pursuant to Sec 82.03 of Wis. Statutes. All in favor motion carried. Dick Lidtke made a motion seconded by Lou Benter to adopt the state allowed 2007 town tax levy equal to $396,249.00 to be paid in 2008 pursuant to Sec 60.10(1) (a) of Wis. Statutes. All in favor motion carried. Ron Babros made a motion seconded by Dick Lidtke to authorize the town board to hire town officers as employees of the town with an hourly wage of $10.00 per hour pursuant to Sec 60.10(1) (g) of Wis. Statutes. All in favor motion carried. Lou Benter made a motion, seconded by Dick Lidtke to adjourn. All in favor motion carried. Edwin W. Benter Town Clerk/Treasurer
